Behind The Scenes of The Dragon’s Den
Brainspark Games was first approached on Linked In by the casting researcher for Dragons’ Den in March 2024. After an initial telephone call and video interview, and having been persistently told “we can’t guarantee you’ll make it to the next stage” throughout the auditioning process, founder and mother of three, Reedah El-Saie was more than a little surprised to find herself on the Dragons Den pitch floor in summer 2024! Having just secured ‘Super Angel’ Investment with the round led by Nick Button-Brown of The Games Angels and backed by Jonathan Bunney, Callum Underwood, Afsor Miah, Nainan Shah, Islee Stella, Mart Lume, a number of private HNWI, together with FOV Ventures and Wahed Ventures, Reedah was thrilled to have been awarded her 7th Innovate UK ‘Investor Partnership’ match funding grant. Although the company was not looking for further investment, with a focus on retaining as much equity as possible, after a gruelling due diligence process and a number of last minute changes, Reedah, the ‘Dragon Slayer’ secured investment from 3 Dragons!
