  • Afsor Miah

    Afsor Miah brings over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, specialising in M&A, private equity, and corporate strategy. Currently a Director at Alvarez & Marsal, he has held roles at KPMG UK, Avenue Partners, and Brash Brands, advising on cross-border transactions. Afsor joined Brainspark Games in 2024, using his expertise to support growth opportunities in the gaming industry.

  • Callum Underwood

    Callum Underwood is the co-founder of IndieBI and CEO of Uwu Biz. He is also an occasional angel investor and former owner of the business consultancy Robot Teddy, which was sold to Thunderful in 2021. Robot Teddy managed iconic indie games such as Among Us, Gang Beasts, SUPERHOT, and Vampire Survivors. Previously, Callum worked with Kowloon Nights, Raw Fury, and Oculus, focusing on scouting and business development.

  • FOV Ventures

    Dave Haynes and Petri Rajahalme are the founding partners at FOV Ventures, a Finnish fund based in London and Helsinki. With deep experience in the XR space, they have actively invested for the past five years, backing founders at the earliest stages of AI, XR, and robotics. They believe emerging technologies like AI and XR will transform education, enhancing how diverse students engage with the curriculum.

  • Innovate UK

    Innovate UK supports companies in developing and commercialising new technologies across industries. Brainspark Games has now secured its eighth Innovate UK Investor Partnership match funding grant, contributing to our recent £1.4M raise alongside ‘Super Angel’ investment. This continued support fuels our mission to transform education through AI and XR innovation.

  • Islée Stella

    Islée Stella is an active Trustee, Board Member, and Executive Council to a diverse portfolio of special interest groups. With over 30yrs+ experience in the investment banking industry, Islee is an avid supporter of female founders, creative arts, humanitarian causes, environmental conservation and intercultural education and children's wellbeing. She is a venture Partner Vine Ventures Corporation.

  • Jonathan Bunney

    Jonathan Bunney is a Board advisor with a leadership background in the videogames industry, across start-ups, PLCs and multi-nationals. With 30yrs+ experience in the entertainment industries, Jonathan has led large publishing & development organisations, and played key roles in taking companies public, acquiring studios, and billion dollar exits.

  • Märt Lume

    Märt Lume spent over a decade in the games industry, and believes educational and life experiences can be enhanced with good game design. He was the first hire at Glitch, which pivoted to Slack. Since 2017, Märt has been angel investing in education and VR/AR startups and founded Futuclass. In 2022, he was awarded 'Friend of Education' for his contributions to Estonia’s world-class education ecosystem.

  • Nainan Shah

    Nainan Shah has over 30 years of experience in the video game industry, having played a key role in building PlayStation into a global powerhouse. He’s an investor and advisor at The Mini Fund, where he supports early-stage game studios, helping them grow into iconic industry leaders. Nainan brings deep expertise in business strategy, team building, and scaling disruptive technologies, supporting founders in Europe and the UK.

  • Nick Button-Brown

    Nick Button-Brown has 25yrs+ in the tech & games industry and is Chair at Outright Games, Board Member/Advisor at Tiny Rebel Games & Payload Studios. Nick helped grow & scale Improbable, which raised more than $600m, backed by Andreessen Horowitz, SoftBank Investment Advisers and NetEase Games. Previously at Electronic Arts (EA), Nick founded The Games Angels, investing in & supporting gaming startups. He is on the BAFTA Games Committee, Ukie Board & others.

  • Sadik Miah

    Sadik Miah is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience, having worked at Grant Thornton, JP Morgan, Citibank, and UBS. He is a Partner at Jenson Solutions Ltd, specialising in operations, M&A, and exits. Sadik is also a Non-Executive Director at Euroview Architectural Glass and CEO of Epinephrine – Automobile Country Club, focusing on business strategy, financial management, and luxury leisure ventures.

  • Vince Farquharson

    Vince Farquharson brings over 30 years of experience in the video games industry. Currently COO at Bossa Games, he previously served as Group COO at SuperNova Capital, overseeing multi-million dollar companies. Vince’s expertise spans creative, production, management, and investment, helping companies drive growth and success while advising startups and game studios on game design and business strategy.
